In life people seek to find what was lost. People seek to find the garden experience that Adam and Eve were expelled from, looking for that harmony that flowed within. People seek a peace that passeth all understanding; that peace only comes from God through the power of the Holy Spirit. People have built an ideology that some things of the world bring contentment. Although it will be a temporary contentment, good for a season, it still can lead to bondage. God never said in His word to not enjoy His handiwork, but sit back and see His fingerprints everywhere. Imagine the magnificence of His creation while sitting by the seashore, in the mountains with a cabin view, or in a park, just listening to the sounds that are music to the ear that was created for you. Don’t ever place yourself in a bubble so that you stop dreaming. Watch your self-talk (what we tell ourselves) that says you will never be able do that; Moses dealt with his self-talk at the beginning of his wilderness experience. Dream the dream, make it happen, and go beyond that dream. You’ll never know what the Lord has planned for you until you take that next step on faith.
One of the hardest things people face each day in life is staying in tune with God by being in a position to hear His voice. Ephesians 4:30 “And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.” When the matters of the heart (life issues) are in tune with the Lord, life gets easer. When people let go as commanded (taking a biblical perspective) in Ephesians 4:31-32 then the rejoicing and peace will come, because the focus is not on themselves. “Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.” (KJV),
Philippians. 4:4-8 (KJV) “Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice. Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand. Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.” And Isaiah 26:3 “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.” (KJV)
A direction for life Proverbs 3: 1-10 (KJV) “My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments: For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee. Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart: So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man. Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil. It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones. Honour the LORD with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase: So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine.” Don’t put your trust in the things of the world; they are only for a season.
In one’s journey in life, adversity makes one stronger, not bitter. Just count it all joy for the trying of your faith, because a biblical perception of the situation makes the difference. Otherwise, people will deviate to the patterns of the old way of thinking and never move forward in life.
People must ask themselves each day if the harmony with the Creator is there, or if some fine-tuning needs to be done. Are you still a wonderer? Are you seeking to find your place of contentment? Jesus said in Matthew 6:33 “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” (KJV).
